Looking Ahead to Mountain Lion
As mobile technology becomes more and more popular, powerful, and profitable, software behemoths like Apple become more and more inclined to model their desktop software after what's running on their phones and tablets. An advance look at OS X Mountain Lion reveals that the Apple experience of the future will be increasingly centered around iOS.Apple Sues Samsung Over Autocorrect
The playground sand-kicking between Apple and Samsung continues. In the latest move in their seemingly never-ending legal feud, Apple is now suing the less powerful mobile manufacturer over the autocorrect feature in their Android phones and tablets. Because Apple patented the substitution of one word for a more commonly used word, and now no one else can ever include an autocorrect feature in their technology ever again, I guess.

The meteoric rise of Apple stock
I love talking about stocks and there is no hotter stock right now on the market than Apple stock. I picked it as one of the 5 stocks to invest in 2012. It has by far outperformed my expectations and the other stocks that I picked. What’s more, stock analysts and financial magazines seem to think that by looking at Apple’s fundamentals it could be poised to hit $500 mark in 2012.

Before you rush out to purchase a share of Apple, I want to share that looking at Apple stock’s technicals the share price tends to fall just after the holiday season. Three Major Apple Innovations To Change Literature and Education
We’ve all seen the sci-fi films depicting the classrooms of the future, groups of students in white tunics sprawled in some Eden-like location, engaging in Socratic conversations about existential questions. I suppose that somewhere in the world there is a market for this sort of thing. Somewhere, some individual will purchase their very own twelve-inch Steve Jobs action figure for just shy of one hundred dollars. They'll probably mount it on glass shelving in their living room next to one of many sleek Bose iPod docks. This person likely wept at the death of Mr. Jobs. They camped out in front of New York City's Apple store for upwards of 24 hours in order to be one of the first to lay their hands on a brand new iPhone 4S. This person frightens me and I hope with all earnestness that I never encounter them face to face. The Best Gifts for the Apple Junkie
It's a holiday cliche to have to shop for the one guy who "has everything". It's not as though it's literally true; they don't have a miniature carousel built into their living room floor or a magnet-suspended jellyfish aquarium. The problem is they think they have everything they could ever want. Their toys are the best toys and they buy them for themselves long before the carols start sneaking back onto the ClearChannel. These are the people who tend to own Apple products.
So what do you get your beloved Apple addict for the celebration of yuletide? It's not like you can up the ante and buy them a better phone than the 4S they've already secured. They've got the best tablet and probably what they consider to be the best desktop and laptop computers on the market. There's no chance of gifting them with electronic staples, but like all toy collectors, they'll always welcome the opportunity to enhance their collection with toys for their toys. Giving gifts that celebrate the gadgets they already own is a sure way to flatter and delight your Apple junkie.
