Apple's new iPad Tablet

Apple's iPad is in many ways like a larger iPod Touch. It's a thin device, 0.5 inches, with a 9.7 inch multi-touch screen. The screen is 1024-by-768-pixel resolution at 132 pixels per inch, and so it looks pretty sweet, and video and images are very very nice. It runs most of the current iApps for the iPod Touch and iPhone, as well as Apple's own applications for them, like Safari, Mail, and iTunes, though they've all been modified to work with the screen size and gestured touch screen of the new iPad. In addition, Apple has created a new version of the spreadsheet, wordprocessor/page layout and presentation suite iWorks just for the iPad touch, and a new ebook reader, iBooks. Read more

Apple Takes a Green StandApple Takes a Green StandI love Apple. I write these blog entries on my Apple, I go take free classes about how to use my machine even better at the Apple store, and I proudly raise my hand as one of those people who thinks Apples are just better than PC’s and can’t understand why anyone would be using a PC- I mean, you do what you want, it’s not a judgment of anyone as a person- but for me, Apple is the only way to go. And I love the statement they are making, joining with other Utility companies in walking away from the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. I feel like it’s similar to some EU nation walking away from the UN or something.

Two years ago today, the first apple iPhones went on sale, hard to believe huh?  Apple had announced in January of 2007 that they would release this new iPhone in June of 2007 and for a ridiculous price of $599 for the 8G.  Of course, consumers jumped at the chance to have this awesome new touch iPhone that not only is a phone, but holds your music, full internet access and several fun apps that you could download, the first of its kind.
